Our boat broke down on the way to the bear observatory. However, once we made it there, we saw 4 black
bears and a grizzly bear.
The bears didn't seem to mind us looking at them. We were told most were born and raised at the observatory so they were somewhat used to people. They were also much better "fishermen" than we were.
The grizzly bear didn't get too close to us or the black bears. She was good at catching fish too. However, she would only eat the bellies or eggs then would throw the rest away for the birds to feast on.
