September 3-5 (Labor Day Weekend)
Central Florida was hit once again. This time by Hurricane Fances. Frances sat on
us for 3 days. We got about 14 inches of rain and lots of wind. The dogs were taken
out during the lulls, but would quickly come back in. Again, the house was spared, but
the yard was a wreck. We only lost power for 36 hours, but were very thankful once
the air conditioning returned.

September 25 & 26
Central Florida was hit for a 3rd time this year. This time by Hurricane Jeanne. Jeanne didn't
last as long as Frances did, but the winds were worse. There was also a lot of rain
of course. We only lost power for about 15 hours and no damage was done to the house
or surrounding trees. Once again, we got lucky!
